How To Declutter Your Mind ?

 

After hours of thinking and assessing, figured out, why do we feel restless? And why so unfocused at times? Basically, all we need to do is making some space in the head to bring more productivity i.e. ‘decluttering’.

 

Let it go:

Worrying over everything and negative thoughts will not take us anywhere, it will only result in a waste of our own energy, better replace them with positive ones, and just let it go. Cabinets are not the only areas that need tidying, our minds are similarly full of thoughts, judgments, expectations, and fears.

 

Too much information:

Keeping yourself away for some time from your smartphone, social media, and lessening the intake of any kind of media though it is tough for us to do this. Taking a little break from all the digital distractions makes you think about important things that actually affect you and your brain can avoid too much information which just brings a state of chaos.

 

Emotion control:

Sometimes we create our own clutter, by overthinking and being way too emotional over every little thing and making things in our mind that might not even exist in reality. Even if it is about seeking perfection with things in life, we should not overthink and keep waiting for things to get better which are not in our control.

 

 

Write everything down:

Take a pen and a notebook and start writing each and everything that’s in your mind, it can be in a disorganized manner but just write and let the thoughts flow. It might not directly give you direction but It will help clear the blockage at least.

 

 

Minimalism:

What most people say minimalism is about a simple, sophisticated lifestyle but minimalism has to be holistic, it is about enjoying more from limited resources. You cannot create it, it comes from within as one will have to believe in it to accept it. Lesser the things, lesser the clutter & confusion.

 

 

Indeed, mental clutter is something that is important to be removed before any other clutter to make our life meaningful and truly fulfilling.
